A somewhat good 10 minutes on the Coffeyville sub! So I had planned to go search for UP 1988, the MKT or Katy heritage unit, but on my way to Coffeyville, I heard it was not even there. So I still made the 20 minute trek to town, and got scared by a double coal train, I didn’t get a picture of the head end, as it was in the trees, but I got the rest of the DPUs. After that train passed I headed to the yard, just to find it empty, as I expected it to be. All I saw was DNCV power idling on the power track, and UP 4010 sitting on the other power track by itself. Honestly not bad since I’ve made several attempts to go see SKOL, since it’s had an SD40-2 trio running 204/205 trains, but I’ve failed every single time.
