i don't like that people still thinks physical and spiritual are 2 separated things... they are not! there's no spiritual experience without a body, there's no body experience without a spirit.

But, we have a split second to choose Jesus instead of the flesh. Thank you Jesus and Father. Amen

I think that is an old belief from a time of thinking there are only two choices (dualism), when there are MANY. What if it’s not an either/or choice, but a both/and one? Why can’t we have both?

There are many people who found more meaning and more hedonism than we could ever imagine. The acetic lifestyle isn't automatically a meaningful one. Just because you don't party or do drugs or drink or bang a lot of women doesn't automatically make you some great sage or mighty philosopher... It could also mean your just boring and have no opportunities to get women and party and have fun! What if a person derives all of their meaning from hedonism? What if a person's life mission is to sleep with as many women as possible and party and do as much drugs as possible and have zero responsibility? Is their "meaning" any less credible than your "meaning" that you get from locking yourself in a shack on the top of the Himalayas meditating and fasting all day?? Ultimately each individual decides what's meaningful to them according to their own standards! There is no universals!!

Pleasure and spiritual go hand in hand. Even the GODS enjoy pleasure sometimes. There is nothing wrong with pleasure, and I think it’s pseudo-spiritual to claim that pleasure is inherently wrong when it is not. Pleasure is needed, just like water is needed. How can you find true happiness and fulfilment without also striving for pleasure? I’ve made a vow to exist DELICIOUSLY for all of eternity… and that’s a vow I shall keep.
