We're in crazy times, might as well just buy 5 of the cheap ones till you need more.

Why is there marks 3 times as deep as a cap head Allen screw? Looks like they lost a fight with a vice.

A couple of years ago almost a decade I saved some money so I can get a toll truck and be my own boss and stuff. But I got declined somehow by Cornwell, Mac, Matco, and Snap On. They however advertise that anyone xan become a authorized dealer and stuff to this day. One wanted me to buy a 6k tool box but I declined then I realized my purchase power and brand loyalty didnt matter at all.

It feels like everything is made in the same factory, and all they do is slap on a different label. FALSE CHOICE.

Snap-on was once a quality tool. Now?…not so much. In all fairness, hex bits have a tendency to twist and snap like that if the bolt/plug is tough. Better off breaking with an impact to get it started.

Does Husky replace them for free for life no questions asked ?

@KirkMcDonald-h2s

I use mastercraft(Canadian tire brand) anything breaks you bring it in for replacement for life, plus decent quality, and good prices, especially during sales. Buy once, never again, best way to do it, and proves they could all be doing the same thing if they were not trying so hard yo rip off their customers.

Why is a hex head fastener torqued down so tightly? 👀Also, by the looks of it, that's not a torx drive but a hexagonal drive— unless they've both undergone a clean ductile torsion fracture. I don't entirely expect different results from either product since there are engineering standards these materials must conform to. The only difference between the two is QA/QC and tolerancing. I'd like to believe that the Snap-On has tighter tolerancing than the Husky, but China has been improving their manufacturing game greatly since the mid 2010's. Anyways, I think the crummiest thing you could do is poorly put a 😎emoji over the original content creator's watermark and pass it off as your own. I can't wait until YouTube demonetizes this behavior so you actually have to go get a real jo

Nothing to do with the brands here, torx is just a terrible fastener. The bolt is intrinsically stronger than the tool in a lot of cases.
