Didn’t know you were a chess person Dan. I’m subscribed to several chess influencers and didn’t realize this was coming from you, what sad news 😢

He was the first GM I ever had the chance to play online. Such a talented, instructive and kind guy. He died so young it's horrible, even though I didn’t know him personally, his death breaks my heart. RIP Daniel.

Danya was the best chess educator out there and seemed to be a great person. He will be missed by many

I didn’t know of him. But I watched a bit of his last upload and then saw what some people said about him. He enjoyed chess for sure. And I see people appreciated his ability to teach it. It is a loss when a light is dimmed even if I only learn of its brightness a little too late. And I wouldn't have known if you (Dan) didn't post.

What are the chances! I know nothing about cheer or stunting or whatever it is you call what you guys do. Then I find out Dan is into anime. And now chess? Two of my biggest hobbies. The algorithm cooked when it recommended me your channel. R.I.P. Danya the chess world will miss him and the world is a slightly worse place with him gone.
