I know it's a meme and all, but I mean humans already suffer when we eat meat. If heart disease, diabetes and cancer aren't enough to make us rethink our unethical dietary choices, an allergy or two and the occasional food intolerance likely won't be enough either. As much as I wish otherwise, I think the change ultimately needs to come from within us. (At least until we're a big enough demographic to tip the social norms away from making exception for animal abuse)

Considering how many people consume dairy despite being lactose intolerant, I think this doesn't even make that much of a difference. It's wild how much they'll go "Noooo I can't go vegan because beans make my tummy hurty" and then turn around and be like "Yeah I eat cheese and then shit out my esophagus for the next three hours but you gotta live a little"

Sadly its only to red meat, they will probably just eat more chicken/fish to compensate. Now if only it worked on ALL animal flesh/products not just mammals.
