So, I've been seeing a noticeable increase in hate comments over the past few weeks. Whether it's a random passer-by dropping a hate comment for fun or a persistent effort to criticise all my videos, it's something I should probably address. I briefly touched on this in my Plants vs Zombies video, but I would like to talk about this in more detail here.

Most of the hate I get is from people who've never even attempted to make the same types of videos that I make. And, come on, you're so angry that someone is creating content you don't enjoy that you took the time out of your day to complain about it to a bunch of strangers online? I can't think of a single reason for being mad about someone making something completely harmless, can you?

Look, I'll be the first to admit that my content isn't the best and definitely has room for improvement. But if there's something you don't like, it's a lot healthier to convey your opinions in a structured, useful way rather than spamming insults with no helpful explanation. Rest assured, I knew I would get hate ever since I uploaded S1 Day 1. I accepted that, but that doesn't make it mandatory.

It's okay if you don't like my videos. You don't have to watch them or engage with them. Just like the saying goes: "If you have nothing good to say, don't say anything". Nothing is stopping you from clicking off my channel and watching something you enjoy instead.

If you're one of those people who likes to troll for fun or be mean to people online for no reason, remember that on the other side of the screen, there is a living, breathing human being who may be deeply affected by your words. The fact you can't see them in person doesn't make your actions any less impactful, so please think before you click "Comment" or "Send".

I spent the last 15 years of my life disliking myself because of the way others often pick on me for being who I am, when in fact, I was just a normal autistic person. Sorry for bringing up my autism again, but I'll often talk about being autistic to bring clarity and comfort to those who hate others, or even themselves, just for being the way they are and doing what they want to do.

In a world where empathy is decreasing and joy is so hard to come by, it makes me smile to see people having fun within this community instead of picking out the negatives and bullying each other for it.

My goal has not been to please every single person on YouTube. So, if you're a natural-born hater, ask yourself right now if it's something you really should be committing to. I'm almost positive the answer will be no.

I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
