Will be interesting to see how my cats respond. I think the main thing that sets your videos apart is that there is a full view of the area, as opposed to these close-up shots of a feeder and nothing else. I think to the cats, it seems more like they're just looking out the window and not at a tv screen. I've noticed several times where what tends to catch their attention is a squirrel or rabbit or whatever, running through the yard and slowly creeping up on the stumps.

My cats love your videos and I'm sure they'll love the new one too! We're all looking forward to it.

Great work background ambience and my supervisor(cat) approves wholeheartedly. He says your videos are the best because they offer more depth to the frame than others, giving it a much more natural "window" feel.

My cat only loves your videos (and I've tried lots, believe me). I'm glad to see you keeping the same general setup and perspective, and I'm sure he will be enthralled with the additional hiding places for the animals :)

My Wife & I wrote a lengthy letter to you that far exceeds comment-status-lol. Therefore, here are our more simplified & condensed comments for you: Our Cat Louie is OBSESSED with your channel. He refuses to watch any other bird/wildlife channels outside of yours. He is a high-energy & very intelligent breed, who bores easily & can be very demanding of receiving proper engaging outlets/all sort of stimuli (for his energy/interests). Louie is definitely NOT bored of Blue Wind Creations!...even with all of the viewing hours clocked & multiple viewings of EACH video (to the point where even my wife has memorized the play-by-play of scenes & video happenings in detail). Louie watches your channel for hours, he literally launches his body at the TV screen trying to catch birds/animals that make appearances, & YES- he will also throw tantrums if we try to turn the TV off or switch channels. Sometimes it seems as though Louie prefers watching your channels over looking out the actual windows. Through much observation of our cat's behaviors, we realize that Louie has some requests for you (*if possible): He would like even more features with Crows & BlueJays. He also loves that you rotate between using 1, 2, and 3 stumps, & that sometimes you have used really zoomed-in up-close shots & other times use a bit more distance. Changes with your background scenes & also lighting used/times of day filmed are all very good too. Lastly, we hope you will continue to post new videos often! ...The thought, quality, & creativity of your work are excellent & much appreciated!!

My dog loves squirrel TV. Your content is her favorite. She will beg me to change it to yours when YouTube changes the channel to something else. It’s so silly.

Blue Wind Creations
Hello Everyone,
We’ve got some exciting news! All of our previously released videos have been recorded in our yard. This has presented a number of challenges when trying to record long-form videos. We live near multiple busy roads, which creates lots of traffic noise. There has also been continuing construction and repairs to these roads which causes another set of jarring noises. We have many neighbors, so we try to be respectful of them and not record their houses or yards, which limits the angles and directions we can record. They mow their lawns, do repairs to their homes, and have social gatherings – all great things, but not good for recording our videos.
Since the start of this channel gaining some popularity a few years ago, I’ve been trying to find a way to solve some of these issues with recording. About a year ago, I acquired the rights to record videos on a piece of property that isn’t our yard. It hopefully solves many of the problems listed above. The location of the property is fairly remote, in the woods, doesn’t have many neighbors, and only has one busy road nearby.
For the past year, when I’ve had free time, I’ve gone out to that property. There’s no electricity and no running water. (Plenty of mosquitos though!) The owner previously cleared part of the land many years ago and since then lots of small bushes, trees, and other brush have filled in.
I’ve cleared some paths, and installed multiple feeding stations which I have regularly been refilling. This past May is when I first started trying to record videos out there. I’m pretty excited with the results!
It turns out there are tons of animals and the area seems to be a paradise for Eastern Chipmunks! I don’t know what the future for this channel holds, but I’m hoping we might get some good new videos with new scenery and new friends! (Furry and feathered)
We will still continue to keep making videos in our own yard too. This just gives us some more freedom and variety. I don’t have a background in photography or film, so everything is an experiment and a learning process!
As always, a huge “Thank You!” goes out to all of you that watch our videos and share them with your cats, dogs, and other pets!
We hope you enjoy our next video (#43) which will be released tomorrow morning (06/27/2024), it is our first video recorded out there. The image attached to this post is a preview of the scene! Hoping for many new adventures to come!
