Crypt of the NecroDancer. Incredible dungeon crawler rhythm game roguelike and the only one I've ever seen.

Oneshot is a short puzzle game with a peak emotional story that breaks the 4th wall, the player is recognized as a character in the story and some puzzles consist in doing stuff with your computer's files Persona (3, 4 and 5) is an rpg mixed with a real life simulator where the protagonist, an high schooler, has to bond with people and fight in another world to save humanity from a calamity Expedition 33 is one of the best games I've ever played and probably in the top 3 best games of the year. I'd have other things to say, but it's not necessary Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a weird game, basically Pokémon but with gods and demons set in a post apocalyptic world where the protagonist has to survive and recreate it following his beliefs Oblivion and Skyrim (especially with mods) are some of the best, most immersive open world rpgs I've ever played Lastly, Metaphor RePhantazio is a game made by same creators of Persona and SMT (yeah I really like Atlus games) set in a fantasy Kingdom where the king is dead and there's a competition to elect a new one and the main characters have to murder this guy that killed the king and almost the prince as well and also win the elections to save the kingdom.

Blue Prince For those who haven't heard of it and like puzzles- or even if you don't, it's a fantastic game! The core mechanic (without even touching on the great story) is each door of the mansion you open you get three randomly selected floorplans to choose out of, each room has a different aspect, your goal is to reach the fabled room 46 of the 45 rooms mansion. There is a lot more to it than that and you uncover more and more secrets and clues as you go and it's incredible. At the very least take a look at the trailer because my description does not do it justice

Rift of the Necrodancer. An unexpected spinoff to Crypt of the Necrodancer. This time, it's basically Guiter Hero but the notes move on their own (and you have to memorise how each monster-note moves and remember on the move)

Rusted Moss. It's a metroidvania, but with grappling hooks and guns. It's more orientated towards (fast, momentum based) movement than aiming.

Look Outside! Its take on cosmic horror is phenomonal, and despite the genre its biggest strength is in its characters over the horror aspect. It's a game about compassion, looking past their mutated monstrous forms and seeing the humanity deep down. To me every character feels real, your interactions with them are delightful, the humor is on point, it doesn't pull ANY punches, and the true ending to me is the sweetest Spoilers, not really . . Even the visitor that mutates people is a sweetie, and it makes you think
