As some of you might know, I took a long break (around 5–6 months) due to health issues, and I’ve only recently started uploading again—thank you so much for the support and patience.
Since coming back, I’ve made a few changes—one of the biggest being the voice used in my videos. I use TTS (text-to-speech) because English isn't my first language, and I want the narration to be clear and easy to follow. I also started YouTube as a side job, so I don’t always have time or confidence to record voiceovers myself.
Previously, I used a more robotic-sounding voice, and I noticed a lot of feedback saying it felt “too AI” or even calling the channel “just another AI slop channel.” That honestly discouraged me and was part of why I took a break.
Now, I’m using a new, more natural-sounding voice that I personally feel fits better and improves the viewing experience. However, I’ve seen some comments saying they miss the old voice or don’t like the new one—some even mentioned unsubscribing over it, and I can't use the old one due to licensing problem.
I get it—change can be jarring. But I also know I can’t please everyone.
So I'll let you decide which one you'd prefer.
*side note if you choose 'Try a new voice' comment on what kind of voice would you like. For example : Deep, serious, easygoing, etc
