Movie Night with Jacqui

Hey everybody,

I apologize for not updating you sooner. I had posted a notice on Patreon, but I realize I had neglected to say anything here, and that was wrong of me. Alas, there's been a lot happening behind the scenes. Not long after I uploaded episode 2 of Fallout, I found myself in the Emergency Room with severe stomach pain, and other symptoms that had been getting worse in the prior days/weeks. Thankfully it was nothing too serious, but upon treatment, the consensus was that it was triggered by stress. Between grief over family tragedy, helping with the memorial service, trying to get back to work, and wanting to make sure I was respectful of my audience, I wound up stressing myself physically sick.

I posted a public update about this on Patreon, and I genuinely don't know why I didn't post the same thing here. I was admittedly a little out of sorts, and I also didn't expect it to take so long for me to start uploading again. I wound up taking a bit of a social media detox, because alas, I've been a proper mess lately, and the last month or two feel like an absolute blur to me.

Unfortunately, I also wasn't the only member of my family to wind up in the hospital in the past few weeks, and we've all been doing our best to support each other. I've been working on videos a few hours at a time, trying to get things finished, and finding ways to make sure that I don't land myself in the ER again.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving here, and I'm currently prepping food and counting my blessings. I'm so thankful for all of you, and again, I apologize for not keeping you more updated. Family and health have been my priority, and you have all been so kind and supportive, I knew you'd understand my taking some time away. In fact, many of you encouraged me to do so. I want you to know that you are a huge priority for me, I absolutely love doing reactions, and I've got a great deal that I can't wait to share with you. You are my internet family, and I appreciate you so much.

Happy Holidays, and so much love,
Jacqui

I'm sorry to hear that. I've said it before and I'll say it again: While we do miss you, we also understand and we'll be here when you come back. Focus on taking care of yourself and the ones around you, that's what matters! Sending love and big hugs from Sweden!

😮 I am so, so sorry you went through all of this. Please keep healthy and happy from now on. Even if it means we never see another video. You've brought people so much joy already. You owe us nothing. We owe you everything. We love you. ❤

As a kidney transplant recipient of 7 years, health comes first, then family. Everything else gets prioritized in the order you feel necessary. Just recuperate and be with your family for Thanksgiving. We can wait for your smiling face.

Hey Jacqui, you owe us nothing but to take care of yourself, no matter what. We understand, a lot of us aren't doing so great either. Do whatever you need to to keep being awesome!

Jacqui- Speaking from personal experience, health comes first. Always. Stress from a sudden loss can be overwhelming. You have nothing to apologize for. Focus on your health. You owe no one, not family, any explanation. You've built a great channel and fans. Take all the time you need. We will be here when you are ready. May tomorrow be as happy as possible given the circumstances.

so serenity is Two sets. thr top half and the bottom half. the break in sets is when they walk down the stars. I don't remember the exact numbers but it was something like 15 takes for the top half and 18 for the bottom to get it right... SOOOO worth the time spent on it! amazing opening!

@ferrari2k

You deserve the most heartfelt hug and please get well soon. You only have one health and if your body shows "that's enough", just listen to it. Had the same thing last year and took quite a while off of work, now it is getting better everyday. Wish you all the best, have a nice weekend!

Big (non-pervy) hug and lots of love to you! You take care of yourself, and your family, and when you're on an even keel again, we're here to enjoy reacting with you. If it's stressing you, that's not enjoying it. As much as I'm still waiting for your Serenity reaction, do what you need to be healthy, and at peace... everything else is second. Go sacrifice a turkey to the family gods! We'll see you when we see you!

Thanks for the update. I figured it was something like this. Ease back into things slowly. I know it's going to be worth the wait.

@MrAlbieWan

Glad you're ok, I was literally writing a post on your Patreon yesterday to ask whether you were doing ok, but deleted it because I didn't want it to sound like I was pushing for more content to be uploaded. Your health, and that of your family, are the most important thing. Get yourself well, and return when it's the right time to do so 🙂

@The_Deaf_Aussie

It's OK. I myself is going through stress and grief as well. As my mother's time is near.. we don't know when tho. I suspect that most of us knows about your situation, so we expect nothing from you. So apology is not needed. As I have said before, take your time, we will still be here when you are ready to return. Much love and prayers.

Love and good wishes. Your health takes priority over everything else. You get healthy, we will be here waiting to share reactions with you. So sorry for your loss. I know that the grieving process can last a while. Do not try to force or hurry your emotional responses. Allow yourself to feel what you feel, when you feel it. Things will get better.
