Once you get used to marked it's not that bad at all. Can always use right trigger to reset the mark back to the middle, so you can even basically shoot as normal if you want to

I love curse of the tower. I can just walk into enemies or projectiles if i expect a secret room or if i dont have flight and want to get past a wall. Bombs feel great, hp doesnt really do anything in terms of feeling.

Curse of the Tower, mostly because there are items that make it a great item in combination, namely safety scissors and/or pyromaniac/host hat.
