Cramping after IUI is extremely normal. These cramps are usually pretty short-lived.
Here are a few reasons for the cramps after IUI:

1. A catheter is used to inject sperm into the uterus. You may experience agony and cramping when the catheter crosses the sensitive cervix region.

2. The procedure is done during the ovulation period, and ovulation can also cause cramps.

3. Implantation is the major reason for cramping after IUI.
