Hey, if anyone is still here:

I've been doing a lot of self-reflection on my gender lately and I think "demigirl" is the most accurate label for myself. The TL;DR is that I still feel like a woman, but only for half of the time. The other half is just... eh.
I'm not changing my pronouns because at this point, I'm too used to "she/her" and pretty much no other pronouns give me the same amount of euphoria. But the internal feeling of "half-woman, half-void" is something I've found myself coming back to a *lot* in recent memory. So I may as well accept it for what it is.

I'm republicizing my post-transition Q&A/reaction videos to serve as a time capsule for a certain period of my life.
Truthfully, I don't love how much emphasis I had put on my medical transition in these videos and how vague I feel like I was about actual details, even though the last video in the series(?) is meant to be a subversion of its predecessors.
While I am proud of myself for being so committed to the process, taking girl pills (or boy juice) is not the end-all-be-all of the trans experience.
But ultimately these videos are just as important to my journey as where I stand right now - plus, I am eternally humbled to hear how much these videos have helped others handle their own experiences with gender or to become better allies for the LGBTQ community.

Have a good day,
Isabelle

@Leninplier

as a nonbinary person who understands the void feeling, it is normal. I've decided that gender is a performance art and you can decide how you want to perform it. you are valid at all points of gender expression and identity.

I am trans mtf, and I didn’t publicly come out online until last year, so I totally understand the struggle of discovering your true self. However, I am very proud of you for making your way through on your journey of self-discovery and being open to exploring. Whatever you feel comfortable with for a name for you and pronouns are valid! You are valid! Sending love and positive vibes your way! 🩷 (Some of my Discord friends and I are fans of your YTPs! Great work, btw!

If you feel like you're FLUNCTUATING between female and nonbinary (because you said "half the time"), there's also genderfae. It's a form of genderfluidity that doesn't ever include anything male-aligned.

ik i'm a bit late to the discussion, but don't worry so much about how you acted in regards to your identity in the past. it's always always ALWAYS said that one's journey in figuring out their identity never truly ends, and your time of identifying as a trans woman was just one of the many steps you took on that journey. feeling more comfortable as a demigirl is also another step. what you'll be comfortable with in terms of your identity may change again, just like it has with your interests. you just kinda gotta ride that wave wherever it takes you, if that makes any sense

totally understandable to have mixed feelings about how one talked about stuff at earlier stages. Have a good day 💜 (edit: this sentence is a bit wonky but i'm going to bed, i hope it made sense
