What do you believe about God's Spiritual gifts?

Only as GOD'S HOLY SPIRIT leads

The gifts of the Holy Spirit is operational today, but not in the way the charismaniacs or the NAR are portraying it. That gibberish talking in church meetings is not speaking in tongues and many "prophetic declarations" over people or countries are nothing more than wishful thinking or even Christianized "law of attraction" practices.

Yes I believe the gifts of the Spirit are for today the gifts of the Spirit are mentioned in 1st Corinthians chapters 12 13 and 14 and we need to get to the spirit in order to preach the gospel to a Dying World.

They are Gods Gift to an Individual at his will at a specific time and place for a purpose mainly to draw the person or people to him

I selected the full operation option, although I do believe that some of the gifts were given as a sign to Israel and have a more limited distribution from Christ today.

I know most wouldn't believe, including Revealing Truth, whom I respect, but when I sought the Lord with all my heart, he took me to Heaven before his throne. I'm not selling anything, not asking for tithes and I don't care in the least no one believes me, I testify this to be the truth before God.

Decerning of Spirits is a very needed gift given there are three possible sources to consider when it comes to matters. Is it the Holy Spirit, the Human Spirit or a demonic spirit at work.

they can be used today but it is abused by people

I agree with Isaiah Saldivar where he explains deliverance. It is not as limited as spiritual gifts, as far as specific gifts for specific people. As believers, we were/are delivered. As believers, becoming fishers of men means we go out to deliver others. It is a main part of Jesus's ministry and is entwined with His commission to us.

I’d like to think they’re in full operation today but honestly, I’ve never personally seen any prophetic word come to pass, so I don’t know…

I believe that the gifts can be used at anytime God wants to use it to bring in His sheep. But I believed it was used before to show who God was so people can believe. But I always think of this Scripture Matthew 16:4 King James Version 4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed. Jesus already gave us the biggest song and wonder on the cross. Also we have to be careful because the Antichrist will trick some people with his signs and wonders.

The Spirt of the living God operates in us through all gifts but I do believe there where specific ones for the apostles just like when there were certain things assigned in the Bible for specific people

1 Corinthians 12:11 All these are the work of one and same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines. ( AS GOD DETERMINES) JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAME YESTERDAY TODAY AND FOREVER.

Jesus delegated all authority to His Apostles and sent them in the manner in which The Father sent Him. But the eleven [Apostles] disciples went to Galilee to the mountain where Yeshua had appointed them. 17And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some of them doubted. 18And Yeshua spoke with them and he said to them, “All authority has been given to me in Heaven and in the earth; in the manner in which my Father has sent me, I am sending you.” 19“Therefore go disciple all the nations and baptize them in the name of The Father and The Son and The Spirit of Holiness.” 20“And instruct them to keep everything whatever I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you every day, even unto the end of time. Amen” Matt. 28:18-20 Aramaic

I personally believe that anything is possible, however I do hold to the idea that the signs preceeded written scripture as way of authenticating the early Christians testimony of Jesus. The goal seemingly of signs was to lead people to repentance and faith in Christ. I think too much of the body falls out over these things, if they happen, they happen but there's no prescription they will happen every time without fail. I think the evidence also favours this view as throughout 2,000 years of church history it has been the gospel, not the signs that sees resurgence and the gospel throughout history that God seems to keep protecting. Another reason I hold to this view is that the gospel is pure and undefiled, the Israelites in the wilderness who needed sign after sign to get them to have and keep faith, their dependence on signs rather than faith was to their detriment. Signs are exactly that, they point to something. We have the testimony in written form, plenty of evidence and a multitude of witnesses, if God felt the need that the churches experience signs and wonders that would be more of an indictment of the bodies lack of faith. Considering that the signs led people to the cross, people should not be celebrating, but mourning if they were prevalent in the churches today. I am not seeing signs in the churches today and what people claim as such are sadly counterfeits. What I am seeing is people saved by the grace of God, as Jesus said blessed are those that believe yet have not seen.
