There’s speculation as to exactly which album was THE first but general consensus is that the first album released on cassette was: WILD IS THE WIND (Nina Simone), LOVE FOR SALE (Eartha Kitt), or THE SHADOW OF YOUR SMILE (Johnny Mathis)
