It wasn't a stealth check but I just lost my ranger to a natural one on a death save when I already had one failure. I made many loud noises afterwards.

Most of us are off the walls sneaky, and anyone who's normally loud, we can use pass without trace and cover for them. It's funny because none of us are rogues. 🤣 We did have one time when we were escaping some guards we thought were sent by the buromeister of this town, but we really didn't like her (thought she was up to something) and we snuck out the window, hopping across roofs to avoid them. Our cleric made the loudest noise, but he was last, so it didn't harm us too much. However, we later had to explain why we were evading the summons... turns out she wanted to tell us some people had broken in (us) and were rummaging around. In the end, she was a succubas, so it turned out alright. But it was a lot of skirting around the truth and sneaking around

How is this even possible...
Can you think of a time your D&D party failed an important stealth check? I sure can! We'd be interested to hear about your story in the comments.
We ourselves have a fighter with TERRIBLE stealth!
