@kragn0n485

you weren’t touching that new Mario kart anyway w deltarune same day 💀

@HeavenlyMercury2800

What's extra fucked up is that the fact that they didn't reveal the prices until AFTER the direct implies that they KNEW people would be upset and didn't want to insert the prices into the direct itself so it would go over smoothly

@Lord-z2e

"Do what you want cause a pirate is free" "You are a pirate!" Also dont forget about PAID DEMO that only exists to teach you how to use the controls of the console.

Trying to bring back 90s prices is such a smart move, everyone remembers that decade as the pinnacle of market reach for video games

@AleksandarBanchev

Yeah, not gonna lie, I was surprised you were so chill with the price when it was originally announced, because I saw people being unhappy with it from the get-go. But hey, on the bright side deltarune ch. 3+4 also come out on the same day on pc, so there's that, at least!

@Kowery105

Meanwhile Toby being based as usual and making the entire Deltarune cost 25$ with regional pricing

Same here, after the direct I was thinking of saving up to buy it, but after the price was released (and now the regional prices, it's $790 here in Brazil) I just gave up buying it.

@daveybonesOG

Man... I know I don't really have a right to weigh in on these things since I'm in America... But God I wish that Nintendo would just open their eyes for once. With how many people everywhere are explaining that Brazil has the most piracy because people literally can never afford things...

@CeHee123

Nintendo used to have the benefit of being the more affordable option. Nintendo selects was a great thing that they never brought back. The switch's success has gone to their heads. I'm honestly hoping this thing bombs so they'll get their head out of their ass.

@amidlej8237

I just accepted that it wouldn't be feasible to buy the console in my country the moment the direct aired, but damn. It's basically 4000 of my currency. It's almost triple the minimum wage. I'll stick with the indie games that are more accessible in my computer, thanks.

The great pirate age from One Piece is fast approaching

@evanrutledge-sz4yo

As an American, prices probably get real bad here because of you know whose tariffs, but DEAR GOD other countries are having their ass handed to them understand mostly normal circumstances. Hey, least we got Deltarune.

"What the fuck is regional pricing?"

@BelaMS_2005

They killed any hype I had after checking out the prices

Genuinely unhinged 💀

@GPS.J1932

Putting the price for it so high feels like Nintendo is committing a world wide robbery

@ElDawn0167

"Nintendo no se compra se emula", cada día esa frase está más justificada

@PandoraBox512

Seeing the price of the new Mario Kart here in Brasil was a shock. I would expect Activision Blizzard to do something like this, but not Nintendo

2 weeks ago | 17

@RudSalcedo

I'm from Venezuela. I used to see high prices.... BUT DAMN

@bea8674

Here in Brazil too. Somehow, a console with the power equivalent of a PS4 and an Xbox one. It is more expensive than a PS5 and Xbox series X! Unacceptable
