OTD 110 Years ago, the Cunard Liner Lusitania, on its return trip, was torpedoed once by U-20, under command of Captain William Turner. She sank in 18 minutes, taking with her 1195 out of the 1959 on board. Lusitania was the third largest ship sunk in WWI.
