Chapter Master Kross, Son of a nomad tribe known as the M'Kields, was born on Terra during the Unification Wars. He survived many years in the hell known as Terra, until he was taken by the Emperor to be one of the First Astartes, taking part in the Unification Wars as a member of the Uncrowned Princes Of The First Legion.

With the discovery of their Primarch: Lion El'Jonson, he was designated to join the ranks of the Dreadwing, leading his Chapter known as "The Seraphim Host". Fighting in the most dangerous battlefields, numerous Xenos species fell under the swing of his Mighty Axe "Judgment of the Seraphim" during the Great Crusade.
