All but WWll. I believe people were happier and there was more community spirit when social media and the internet were at the forefront of everything. Although there is a place for the internet it has taken over where by people are unable to think of a life without it or an alternative. The clothes were sophisticated and elegant. Men didn't wear short trousers to display their tattoos and women who are overweight didn't wear cut away shorts except on a beach. It is less than one hundred years since the 1940's and standards and attitudes have hit rock bottom. I wouldn't want to travel or live in that era but it would be great if the good aspects could be deployed today.
