Definitely joint pain after being a contractor for 20 years. I was always fit but those elbows and knees are not what they used to be

Supposedly, fat loss is pretty straightforward for an average person. But muscle growth is much more tricky and not to mention slow af. You can consistently lose fat within a few months, but muscle takes years.....

I'm under 15% body fat and I have decent muscle but it is hard to make progress with stuff like bicep tendonitis. I will lift 25 or 30 pound dumbbells and curl those and they feel like feathers. However, I go to 40 or 50 and it still doesn't feel too bad for the weight, but I often get sharp and sudden tendon pains. I can bench ~185 and it feels fine, but I go too much over 200 pounds and my shoulders crackle and pop like rice crispies. I also have scoliosis so when I walk too long or run too long my back feels awful... well my back never feels quite right.

I’ve been lifting for 15 years, pretty big & strong, lift 3-4 times per week. Started hot yoga 2 years ago 3-4 times per week. Eat pretty ok. Still fat. 6’2”, 255, should lose another 40. Feels like I do a ton and still am too big. I don’t eat perfect, but with that much activity and consistently eating 2200 calories per day, I don’t feel like I should have to. 50 years old.
