I absolutely loved the demo so I preordered and fired it up earlier tonight. It feels like it is punching way above its weight, and is a clear upgrade over its predecessor. The environment is wildly detailed... like a fully 3D RE 1 Remake or RE 0. They are truly stunning, and the atmosphere is just really oppressive. It's great to play a new classic-style survival horror game of this quality. Horror fans are eating well this year.

Remember enjoying the 1st one waaaay back but it being a bit of a jank fest,but if u giving it this high a rating will be giving it a go myself blind playthrough.....was it just me that felt like silent hill F...kinda sucked?.....i expect to get a bit of flack for this view since it seemed to be well recieved....the remake of 2 wasnt bad but too 'actiony' School(otherworld) & hospital on the 1st one were peak silent hill,okay thats enough outrage caused on my part😂 Bring Old school fear back,and the horrible air raid sirens putting hairs on en
