Who would win in a fight to the death?

@TenachtRegallium

I like how everyone just collectively accepted Windu didn’t die in Episode 3 despite canon.

@surferjedi5392

That’s a hard question. It could go either way.

Wouldn't be much a fight since windu is dead after ep 3, as amusing as it would be to watch Darth Vader poke his rotting corpse with a lightsaber, it's probably a bit too morbid for star wars haha

Why is it people think Shatterpoint and Vaapad are the ONLY thing Windu is good at? He was seen as 2nd greatest Jedi behind Yoda for a reason….but hey…whatever

@Fact-fiend_1000ASMR.

Mace is the creator of Vaapad and wielder of Shatterpoint. Vader's power is immense and he wields a modified Form V. The battle would be hard, but Mace should have the edge considering Vader has lost the vast majority of his range of motion and should be a prime target for Shatterpoint.

Knightfall Anakin vs Windu would be an epic fight as well.

I'm sorry, but if Mace somehow survived the fall. He would not last long afterward without help. He was down a hand and was messed up by darkside lightning. It was proven to be lethal in legends unless you got treatment.

Depends on Vader, if this is the Early Vader, Mace might just win. If this is Prime Vader, he'd win against Mace considering the damage also took a toll on Windu. But it's definitely gonna be a close fight.

Hmmm hard pick since mace uses life and some powers of the dark where Vader only relies on his pain and anger for power towards to dark side really hard pick

I lean towards Vader on this one. Windu's Vaapad is effective against Dark Side User's but it lacks energy efficiency. Vader could withstand his assault with Soresu and counter attack with Shien, all the while he could further wear Mace down with Force abilities.

The writers will just give it to Vader. In the novel for the force unleashed when star killers clone fights and now gets totally wrecked he asked Vader how he did it considering he lost an earlier fight. Vader replies verbatim I am the Lord of the sith. No other explanation no strategy just he wins when he wants to. A trend that would follow in most fights.

Alot of people don't know why Mace even lost in the first place. His whole thing is ANTI DARKSIDE. There is NO Sith in the Skywalker saga that would defeat Mace; period. When he had beaten Palpatine, he was definitely going to kill him. Killing a surrendering, defenseless and admittedly scared prisoner who had a right to stand trial was a DARK SIDE move. Which went against his ability to funnel Dark Side energy back on the opponent. Anakin was afraid for losing the knowledge to save Padme, but he was also stopping an execution. A Light Side move. Yeah, Vader can't do that. No matter what you guys want to believe or were told by YouTubers, Vader would never beat Palpatine without Luke being there. In that suit, he was less than Anakin's full potential. Still Very powerful, but not where he would have been had Mustafarr not had happened. You might aswell be arguing "Who wins? Superman, no weaknesses at all? Or Batman with a million Years of Preptime in his End Game suit." The answer should really be obvious if you know Star Wars. There's a reason many of the Jedi, including Mace, were killed off Post Vader's reign.

If he is powerful enough and skilled enough to beat Palpatine, then he can beat Vader.
