The two places in Ireland that are the MOST associated with Samhain and Halloween Night 🔥

Rathcroghan is an archaeological complex in County Roscommon, the ancient capital of Roscommon. A sacred assembly point where the Oénach took place, closely associated with Queen Maeve, Táin Bó Culaigne, and the entrance into the otherworld, from where the old deities and ancient ones came to earth during Samhain.

The Hill of Tlachtga is an important prehistoric complex most associated with the fire festival of Samhain. It was a huge fortification in the Boyne Valley, close to Tara, in Co. Meath and it was also a meeting point of great renown with it's roots connected to an ancient sun goddess and druid of the Tuathá de Danaan. This is where the fires of Ireland kindled their fires from.
