This is a pretty cool little relic that I got to see last week while Metal Detecting in Virginia! We dig a ton of the Dr. Bell’s Pine Tar Honey bottles but this was a first! Really cool advertising piece!

That’s a really cool piece of Americana! My great grandfather owned a pharmacy in Hillsboro Ohio and fought hard against snake oil products . Also he was the first pharmacist to sign the Temperance Movement petition. Any idea how this would have been used to advertise?
