Being a Lego Pirates fan, I want to like this, but I’m really disappointed with the lack of interior.

Name of the set made me realize that the first movie is 22 years old lmfao

I was planning on getting this when it was rumored but now that I’ve heard the price I’ll probably just buy it used in few years 😅

I cant wait for your video to drop!! This is one set I am going to get. I've seen the GWP and I'm disappointed to see it in a yellow box.

Your review is pretty much my thoughts after having seen the photos. It’s a neat looking set, the all black puts me off, it’s too expensive, but I’d be a lot more interested in the exact same kit if parts in normal colors for $100 less. Maybe I should just buy the Endurance… I also look forward to an explanation of why they didn’t call it The Black Pearl.

I honestly bet it’s like if they put Black Pearl on there, since that is a movie name, they’d have to pay Bruckheimer a royalty but Disney can say “call it Jack Sparrow’s ship” because we own that likeness and name… 😂 I can’t see another reason. Or I guess maybe they just thought Jack Sparrow was more recognizable than Black Pearl

I feel like i heard the initial rumor was 300 dollars, and while trusting rumors is a slippery slope, that would have felt so much better

Did you receive the gift with purchase compass? I would to see it more in detail!

I like your comparison to the Endurance set. Is this the new price hike to compensate the effects of the tariffs?

Maybe the called it Jack Sparrow's ship to avoid Disney Tax (Pirates of the Carribian is from Disney). Imagine if this is true. The set would cost 700 - 800 bucks.

I know it’s the “black pearl” which is why it’s all black but I wish it had just a bit more color or different shades of dark colors! Otherwise, very beautiful ship.

The infamous Black Pear... I mean... Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship?!
Wonder what's up with that...
