Thought this might be fun as a little behind the scenes thing. Here's what the Mega Man X trailer ended up looking like in the editing deck. Ended up being around 113 clips overall, pared down from about 600 images, plus voice overs, sound effects and music. One fun thing was creating the Maverick Boss overview toward the end, where the framed images zoom in, which involved a little extra editing. :)
Also, some fun stats. The Mega Man X trailer has a 91.8% likes/dislikes ratio, got 40 new subs, reached 2000 views in a little over a day (my fastest video to reach that amount of views) and has been watched for about 70 hours so far.
Thanks for continuing to support my channel. Before I do my next video I may do some smaller projects to practice with Runway's new Act One feature and some new tools that are becoming popular like Hailuo.
I'm always taking in feedback and I think the biggest things I'm keeping in mind for the next one based on the Mega Man X video are to work on consistent designs and action shots. These are both things Midjourney and Runway struggle with, especially with really complex and specific designs like Mega Man and Zero, but that's partly why I want to practice with some other tools, because I agree there is room for improvement in these areas.
