Amazon is the LARGEST because of volume, but the Nile is the LONGEST

the answer always changes between The Amazon and the Nile river, so both are right

The debate is because of how you measure it. If you measure it IN A MAP (straight line) then one of them is the longest (can't recall which) If you measure it IN PERSON (accounting for turns) then the other one is the longest (again, can't recall which is which).

I'm pretty sure the order (from longest to shortest) is Nile, Yangtze, Amazon, and Mississippi

Keep quite some time since I have read it. But last I saw Nile was longest and Amazon had the most volume

The 3 rivers above are also names of boats on the jungle cruise

I actually forgot why the Nile River but I know because I have said Amazon River in the past lol 😆

It goes on for niles and niles (the jungle cruise has implanted that into my memory)

It depends on whether and how you include the tributaries. The Nile has the longest main course, but with the tributaries the Amazon has the longest overall course.

Technically there is not real answer as scientist and geologists are still determining if the side streams that come off the rivers count as a part but the biggest we know of are the Nile and the Amazon
