Definitely The Deficit Myth. Time to bury the "who's gonna pay for it" discourse once and for all!

It's tax season. You could discuss how the IRS already has enough information to calculate taxes owed, or refunds due, for a large percentage of filers who have simple returns. But the tax preparation services, like H&R Block, and Jackson-Hewitt, lobby Congress to block the IRS from automatically doing these simple returns.

I would love to see a video on the battle of Blair mountain and the long history of union busting in the US. I think it's an interesting topic that more people should know about.

The history of queer civil rights in America, up to modern struggles over the equality act.

@fuglong

The CIA's drug running history, how the US gov has planned terrorist attacks on its own soil before, US intervention in basically every attempted socialist society, modern segregation, walkability and sustainable city design, the solarpunk movement, guerilla gardening, and how "right to work laws" are awful, anti-union bullshit. BTW I've been loving your new, longer, more in depth videos! Some of the best mini documentaries I've seen in a while! Thanks for being awesome

The actual cost of making drugs like recombinant human insulin ( they're absurdly cheap to make ) and the fact that the technology that made it possible was all taxpayer funded

I've experienced this a lot in my work. The eternal temp syndrome and how its used to deny benefits with no pathway to ever getting hired

FDRs 2nd Bill of Rights is always a nice history nugget that seemingly no one knows about

@kevinmadden3905

Also, talk about why the Southern Strategy actually did happen.

@samuel9skinner

The history of the Haitian Revolution, The Disability rights movement, Chilean government getting a new constitution. I think we need to discuss different leftist movements throughout history and how they can be helpful in understanding how we should go about with regard to action. like Fred Hampton said, "theory is cool, but theory without practice ain't shit."
