Question 🤔 The German V-2 rocket was the world’s first long-range guided ballistic missile. What type of fuel system did it use?

@yudodisbro

Part of the reason it was so costly to use the V2 was that one of the primary ways of making ethanol back then was by using potatoes. It required something like 40 tonnes of potatoes to launch a single rocket. Not a great use of resources when your population is starving.

@Belzediel

I mean, it wasn't amazingly guided, but, as everyone knows, the fuel was a form of concentrated tomato soup, manufactured by Campbells.
