Nothing can replace Layne, but William Duvall is the best man for the job and everyone is thankful for his work, because Alice can continue to make the awesome music they always have.

Jerry is up there with Iommi as one of the greatest riffmeisters of all time and I'm so glad he's continued to rock the shit out of the whole planet. RIP Layne, a dead man who's saved countless lives 🤘

You and our generation X is the last generation of real influential music. Everything since is corporate mcDiddyNoize. AIC and Layne will always live on in our hearts and souls.

Damn 15 years. Makes me feel old. Seen you guys 3 times in 3 countries. Never thought it would happen. I walked for fucking miles with my wee backpacker money to find a place that had black gives way to blue the day it came out and I don't think it left my discman for a very long time

I realized 2 years back, at the age of 54 that Alice had taken the spot formerly held by Zeppelin as my personal favorite, all time. Their music has been a part of my life in so many important ways, through everything, good and bad. When I thought about it, the divide between them and everyone else is immense because their music hits me in a fundamentally different way. I was definitely hesitant about the DuVall era at first but now I’m grateful for the music and William. It’s not a stretch for me to imagine Layne and William getting along just fine. Both were/are amazing people

There is nothing but Angry Chair available on your channel. What is going on. It says it’s not available in my country.

Alice In Chains
“Dirt tended to have a darkness, and that’s certainly retained in Black Gives Way To Blue. But you might say that there was a ratio between the death-trip element and survivor element in the music…maybe that ratio has been slightly inverted toward the survivor element, because that speaks to our reality now. They’ve gone through a lot to get to this point with me, and I’ve gone through a lot to get to this point with them.” — William DuVall, Kerrang (2009). | 📸: Rocky Schenck #BGWTB15
