IDK WHAT I WANT!!!!!!!!!!! (drawings in order from oldest to newest)
I'm not sure what to do with my maned wolf character Reo's design. I wasn't sure if I was as attached to him, but whenever I try to redraw him I don't quite like it the same as the first one.
(1) the first and original revamp, drawn like a year ago or something. (2) reference sheet for his new design back then. (3) I removed his colorful hair, but added to his palette and design to make up for it. I gave him dot eyebrows opposed to the long ones. (4) I changed his ear shape, gave him red only hair, and played with the colors some more. I gave him an iris color too to try to incorporate the purple again. during the drawing process, I tried black to red hair and even regular long eyebrows, but ended up changing it. (I wasn't happy with the background here, which was the main reason for redrawing him again afterwards) (5) before starting another headshot drawing, I drew out his entire body to see what I wanted to do with his pattern and colors. I tried the long eyebrows again. I got stuck, and didn't finish coloring. (6) I lightened the oranges. I brought back the old hair and gave him a hoodie again, as well as a spike collar and some piercings. I thought maybe trying to bring back old elements of the original drawing would make him seem "right" again. I put the dot eyebrows back. I didn't end up rendering it, because I was still unsure of it. (and I accidentally confused one of the spikes for part of his hoodie!!!!!!)
