It only makes sense for Mitsubishi, a company known the world over for its excellent ballpoint innovations, to offer this ink in its new Lamy subsidiary. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Lamy refills being entirely made in Japan sooner than later. I would next like to see Lamy rollerball refills using the same excellent pigment ink that the Uni Air and Vision Elite use.

Wow, I didn't anticipate your search for a decent substitute for the M16 refill to end like this! You must have risen to mega-influencer status if Mitsubishi Pencil is like, "Yes, sir, we'll get right on that!"

That's so cool! The only reason I don't own a Lamy ballpoint is because of being limited to Lamy's refills, which I hear aren't that great. This makes getting a Lamy ballpoint more enticing. I have a lot of their fountain pens and love them.

It appears it will initially only be available in .5 and .7. I hope eventually they will offer a 1.0

When can I get one and which general direction do I throw my money into the air?

Lamy With Jetstream Inside is official! www.mpuni.co.jp/company/press/20250108-53820.html
It's a Lamy Safari with a new Lamy M17 refill (the M16 refill but filled with Jetstream ink).
Big news for the pen world.
