Of course. Just approach it with an understanding that it’s on to disagree with people in a subject, and that if either of you are wrong about something, it isn’t a big deal.

Honestly I watched his reaction video, it honestly seemed like he had no clue whatsoever about what makes diablo 2 a good game. Really it seems like he's never played the game. Not only that but he seems almost deliberately belligerent in that regard. I doubt a discord call will do much if anything to persuade him away from what he already decided.

He agreed with a lot of your video. He talked about parts of D3 he enjoyed, he also talked about things he didn't like about it. If you are going into the conversation with any kind of intent to prove him wrong or change his mind, I wouldn't waste your time. But if you are willing to clarify your points and be fine with him not agreeing and you are able to be friendly even of you don't agree with him, you will probably see you both have a lot in common and gain a friend out of it. Zack is a nice guy. Don't let what he said offend you, he is trying to entertain an audience. Like he already admitted, he never played D2 so there are things about D2 you won't be able to explain to someone with no hands on experience. It is okay if he doesn't ever play it. D2 fans will always have D2 there. I think you should focus on what parts of D4 you both like and what small changes could be made to make it better. Cheers brother.

I don’t see why not. To be honest Zach outside of the circus of Asmongold is a very smart and humble man. His show is a show. His actual views, when he gives us a rare Zach Rawr upload, are very thoughtful and grounded. He’s not a fool and I think if you can ignore the circus you could have a conversation. It’s ok to disagree. I think that’s important to stage up front

As others have stated yes you should. He's not a bad guy and isn't going to spend his time attacking you as long as you don't think this topic is cut and dry. It's an opinion based discussion meaning there's no right or wrong answer.

X you are a staple in the D2 and even Diablo community as a whole…you should…your opinions are just as valid as anyone else’s and should be properly discussed.

Diablo 1 and 2 follow and objective formula with ADDITIONAL MATH. 3, suddenly changed it to multiplication out of nowhere. In 2 you exactly calculate where point of damage came from In diablo 3 the asgt is literally impossible

"He's never played very much" Has he never played? Or not played very much?

Nope, it's a waste of time for everyone. There's no convincing a guy who plays retail wow like he does. He wants it to be wow. It's like talking to a 60+ year old about politics. They aren't changing now.

I would. But also id try to convince him to actually play the game all the way through and maybe his outlook on the game will change. His views of the game are what they are cause hes only played very little of it lol

His video response to yours wasn't well thought out or with an objective base to it. Granted, yours wasn't exactly objective neither, I just happen to like it more because I feel more aligned to your point of view, but when it's a matter of discussing merely opinions without steel-manning the opposite side, it's likely to be just a shouting match or just a non-productive stressful time for the less agile talker. If you do go into it, just keep in mind that we love you the way you are and you have nothing to lose and nothing to prove.

For the way of counter him, i prefer you to make another video to response to his wrong opinion instead of just fight him directly, its not good for both.

He's just a twitch streamer, whether he's rich, not rich, 90lbs, balding, or sexy, he is not more and he is not less. It's great he is rich granted, but I don't think he holds any magic power. I think its cool you love D2 so much, a lot of people do myself included. I think you can hold up D2 to a degree that bothers other people, or is otherwise unusual. I think you can benefit from not being so critical and being more open minded. Just some helpful thoughts.

Asmongold should I get on a Discord call with him? We have very opposite views on Diablo. He’s never played Diablo 2 very much and likes Diablo 3.
