Hello Bishop Barron. I am thinking of entering into a Benedictine Monastery in Saskatchewan. I have been having something of a conversion experience as of late—even though I was brought up in a Catholic family and baptised as a baby, I always had a very negative view of Jesus Christ. I saw Him as my enemy, and I saw the religion of Christianity as demonic. Even now, as my heart has been receiving what I would now describe as rivers of love and grace, I still find myself at odds emotionally with Christianity, I think because of childhood trauma. However, my experience of Jesus Christ is one of unspeakable holiness, and my heart is completely engulfed by Him; and also, as I examine the Christian doctrine with my reasoning mind, I find that, as long as I am able to set aside by previously held biases against Christianity, that I am logically in agreement with many aspects of the Christian doctrine and philosophy. I have been corresponding with the monks of St. Peter's Abbey in Muenster, Saskatchewan, Canada, and I hope within the next couple years (I still have loose ends to tie up in my life) I will be accepted into their monastery as a monk. I wish you and your family well. God bless you.

Bishop, I’m glad to see you expand your influence, but please cast a wider net with the people you talk to.

I would love to see a video with Daniel O’Conner and the UFO deception. Please have him on. Don’t be afraid.

Christmas day Masses are much less popular-- because of that, it is less crowded and stressful, so I recommend it!

Dear Bishop Barron, this is awkward but I have no other way of contacting you. I follow your channel and grow in faith as I listen to you. So this is not a rebuttal. Recently, a channel called "Christianity" has been posting content solely based on your work, very respectfully but with out links and every segment is rather long, which concerns me, your pieces are usually not over 40 min. I wonder if he/it is using your voice to auto generate his content thus creating 'fake' Bishop Barron sermons. If he/it is creating compilations it is plausible as many utilize your work, but I am worried your voice and name is used to submit less 'kosher' content.

Unrelated question: what happened with Bishop Barron? Why is he no longer seen in the The Gospels podcast by Jordan Peterson? It seems spiralled out of control without him there.

I would not consider Ben your friend when he denies Jesus so vehemently.

I am shocked that the Bishop calls this racist man as a friend.

I am honestly disgusted to see you working with Ben Shapiro.

While our Holy Father and Church Cardinals are going to Gaza to celebrate Christmas with the oppressed and telling the world of the horrors being suffered, Bishop Barron is….speaking with a wealthy supporter of Israel? Disappointing.

Bishop Robert Barron
I recently spoke with my friend @BenShapiro about the upcoming feast days of Christmas and Chanukkah.
Chanukkah is the festival of the rededication of the Temple we read about in the Book of Maccabees, and as Ben remarked, this book leads us to the Christmas story. For Christians, Christ is the new temple.
And Christ the new temple is the Christmas message; the Church has always said of the incarnation that “the Word became Flesh.” Friends, the Gospels—in fact, all of the books of the Bible—know the darkness of the world, but they also reveal that the light of Christ will always conquer.
