Wrestling With Gaming

I released a new video last Saturday on Nintendo's late 90s flash carts for the Super Famicom (SNES) and Game Boy. These were rewritable flash carts made by Nintendo themselves that could hold up to 7 games. Definitely not something we'll see from them again. #nintendo #gaming #retrogaming

Yeah it’s a rough numbers game out there. You make great videos. In my top 3 for sure: my life in gaming, DF retro and wrestling with gaming are basically the holy trinity. For all cases though the views vs effort put in/ quality isn’t fair. But that’s life I guess. You can take pride that every video you make is a permanent resource that is worth watching in perpetuity

I don't really think it's a thumbnail issue. Your hughest viewed videos don't indicate they're by you in the thumbnail, and they're not overly fancy either. 2 years off is a rough gap that Youtube punishes unfortunately, although I think with your extremely high quality work and evergreen topics thing will slowly but surely continue to pick up steam and boost eachother. Another wonderful video as always, and looking forward to more

I found the video exceptionally informative and entertaining. I thought I should mention that I didn't see your original community post in my subscriptions, but rather my main page, with your comment about how hitting the Bell icon solves this. I've noticed with other creators as well lately. I've never had this problem before. Hope YouTube fixes it or something. Anyhow, excuse all this rambling; I very much look forward to your next videos.

I recently subscribed to you, and I'm just "meh" on the cart thing since I've already gone through the 200-n-1 cart phase. 7 games really isn't enough to make me click. I'll be che king out some of your other videos later though. Best of luck!!

I think the reason it's getting low views is the thumbnail design. It took me three days to realize that video was yours and I watch everything you produce. I probably scrolled past it at least 8 times before I read the channel name.

@Louis_Varga

I've heard from another channel that many people only view YouTube from their home/recommended tab rather than their subscription tab, which is a major contributing factor to why a lot of videos, shorts, and posts go unnoticed. This is why many creators ask their audience to ring the bell to be notified of an upload. I don't use notifications because I only never go to the home tab if I've already watched all the videos from my subscriptions and am looking for something else to watch. Maybe finding the right format for your thumbnails will help for those that don't realize how to see their subscriptions.

@MentalLiberation

I just noticed that your logo or your tagline 'wrestling with gaming' wasn't used on any thumbnails since a few years ago. Do you think you can somehow add that to your thumbnail, or maybe your graphic of you giving the collar and elbow tie up?
