Dislikes do NOT need to be removed. It's advantageous for us because you can see what others think about a video before you watch it, and it doesn't matter if it's from a small channel or a big name. We shouldn't have to judge how good a video is based only on the number of likes instead of both. Completely ridiculous!

@n64gamefan

I agree! It would also be nice for users to see who likes their videos.

Agreed. YouTube needs to know just how badly some of its videos stink. I had to install an extension just to see the number of dislikes on videos again.

The dislikes weren't removed, they simply became invisible to everybody except the creator This is worth mentioning because I have stopped getting dislikes ever since This proves my theory that people only troll me when they are seeing/thinking that others are doing the same It may not be a perfect system but if it was the worst thing that ever happened to me than I would be a very lucky Youtuber

@georgerobertson7010

Was YouTube planning to get rid of the dislikes? I must’ve missed the boat on this one

Once again YouTube fits the category of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

@InformationEMG
