Which sim wheel would you recommend for a beginner?

I say g29 simply because it’s inexpensive, decent quality, and it’s compatible with every game under the sun. If the game has a vehicle, then there is some kind of support for the g29.

I'd actually recommend a Thrustmaster T150 / TMX! It's the Thrustmaster equivalent of the G29, but not only is the wheel cheaper than all given options, but compared to G29, the FFB is quieter and better, and don't even get me started with the already better T3PA pedals that can still be upgraded!

G29, G920, G27... All are great to begin with, inexpensive compare to pro wheels and are very reliable, good quality, nice 👌

T300 in my opinion - I currently have a G29 myself and it literally has the requirements for a realistic experience (force feedback, 900 degrees more) but I do experience some problems with putting my binds on games. Either way it's a decent wheel and very affordable. Meanwhile the T300 is more of a sporty wheel. The noticeable thing with both wheels is that the Feedback is so silent on the T300 compared to the G29. And it just so good for it's price. Yes both wheels are rather expensive if you have a £100 budget, but honestly both wheels have their own bad things about them.

G29 hands down. Used mine for 4 years without any problems before I upgraded to a thrustmaster ts-pc. Only reason I upgraded was because my bro upgraded to direct drive so I copped his ts-pc. Did everything from gt racing, rally and drifting with the g29. For drifting I just turned the ffb to 150 to 200 depending on the car and I was set to go. Did drifting on it at 200 ffb for 2 years and it's still in great conditions.

G29 for begginer up to almost pro,the best 'low budget' wheel ever!!!

G29- it's my current wheel and I love it! It would be nice to have more than 6 gears without having to paddle shift up, but for a simple sim racing rig that I can pull out to quickly setup for a night, I couldn't ask for anything else.

I started and still have my t300 but I upgraded and have switched to the dd pro. I love them both.

if you have the budget to get the r5 as a beginner over the g29 or t300 or their variants, you really should. Direct drive changes the whole game. You can always turn down the force feedback from the wheelbase's max, but you can't increase it beyond it.

T150. A really great starter wheel. Its where i started putting hours into work. I used a g29 but its too grindy, i can feel the gears

I would recommend the thrust master t128. Its only 200 dollars and its amazing, with the pedals and comes with and the force feedback is great! It is also very smooth with its belt driven base.

The DD is slightly more expensive, but that wheel can take you from beginner to pro without losing quality. Plus, it's available for consoles so you don't NEED a powerful expensive PC.

G29 all day. I started with it and I couldn’t have had a greater time! Affordable, goes with many games and has a nice feel to it. Amazing 🤩

I just got the T300RS Gt and i must say i was set on G29 at first like i was definitely going to get it but tbh I’m glad i spent the extra on the T300. Granted from not having a wheel before and i technically don’t have anything to compare it to. What i can say is the T300 feels super solid and From the countless reviews i saw and happen to come across your channel your video was the one that made me switch to getting the T300 and once again I’m so glad i did.

T300 RS.. Great wheel, incredibly easy to swap wheels (I believe G29 is not changeable unless you literally disconnect the inner part of the normal wheel and stick it on a custom wheel, T300 has changeable wheels from Thrustmaster) I started on the G27 and it was great but the T300 is so much better, more responsive, more FFB and imo has a better grip then the G29, that wheel is a bit shorter in diameter i believe, friend of mine had one but wheel was too small for my liking

I got a G29 two years ago for less than $300 (I think it costed me $285, maybe a little less). The best part was that I got it with the H shifter at no additionat cost. I really love this thing, I haven't had any troubles with it and it's been great with all the games that support it.

A g920 is acceptable as well. That what I have right now and it works just fine. I always hear a bunch of hate towards the g29 and g920 but in all honesty it's a really good budget wheel and you can always upgrade later on once you get into it. I plan on getting a nicer setup in the future but I have not one complaint about my 920 other than its a little slow during transitions while drifting. Ffb is fine because real cars with power steering don't have heavy steering.

My 1st wheel is an used T150 pro/ TMX Pro for $150, good wheel and ready to spec up with a direct drive wheel, probably will be Moza R5/R7, but if money no issue sure direct drive is the way to go even for beginners.
