My Name Is Andong

We are so moved by the hundreds of lovely comments you guys left under "Mountains Never Meet" Having our first full documentary seen by so many is all we ever hoped for. Needless to say, we decided to leave it up on the channel for you :) Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z829a...

This means we might never be able to sell or licence the movie. But we don't care, we want this story out there. If you enjoyed the film and would like to support us, we have one favour to ask: Please consider sharing the video - it would mean the world to us. 🤗

I'm so happy you did this. I started watching it but got caught up with holiday stuff and didn't get to finish it. Glad that it is still available.

Yes! It was moving, visually compelling and threw me into a contemplative state on what my existence means and what I can contribute to society. Amazing art, thank you so much for sharing.

It was beautiful and inspiring to see someone who, for all of his quirks and foibles, seemed to feel at home and as though he belonged wherever he was and regardless of the circumstances. As Buddhists might say, he had truly gone forth from the home life into homelessness, perhaps that was how home became wherever he is right now.

This was such a special experience to watch. I'm so grateful that you let us see the whole thing for free!

I loved this film. It was such a journey for AP, to help his father retrace the steps of an adventure he had before AP was born. It can be hard to see our parents as an individual outside of our relationship with them. This was very touching.

Wow, großzügig von dir / euch! Es ist eine schöne Doku. Beim Gucken hatte ich Angst, dass er inzwischen verstorben ist und ihr quasi umsonst gereist seid. 🙈 Alles Gute für 2022, Andong! 🎊

@ronin47-ThorstenFrank

Shared it a couple of times by now (mostly U.S. groups and FB) and the reactions were exclusively very positive! But I said it before on the original post: this should be made more widely available because the likely target audience (eg. the ones that enjoy those films) won´t find it on YT or through links in social media.

If we 'watch' all your regular vlogs, including ads, will this help you?
