Hm. Both White Palace and Path of Pain are my favorite parts of the game. Ignore my 30+ hours in Celeste.

to everyone asking about path of pain: nope. absolutely not. I've accepted there are some things in this game that I will never be able to do, and those are path of pain and pantheon 5. it's not like you even get any reward for path of pain anyway

It's understandable. I really like the White Palace musically, as well as in concept. In terms of platforming, I think it's great for the part of the game where you access it, but in terms of gameplay, it's a real pain that I wouldn't wish on anyone... That I want to go back to the White Palace is my problem, but that doesn't matter now. Path of Sorrow? I definitely don't recommend it, unless you REALLY want a bigger challenge. The same goes for the final pantheon; it's more enjoyable for those looking for a challenge, but if you don't want to pass it, that's fine. And I should have started with this, but congratulations on beating the White Palace. It took me about the same amount of time as you, so I know how difficult that area is. Well played.

the first time I did white palace, I was streaming on discord for some of my friends and they were playing coconut mall in the background for at least an hour straight haha

I know you said you wouldn’t do path of pain, but give it a try. If you use hiveblood, it’s very easy to cheese so that you don’t die

imo the normal white palace is harder than path of pain, mostly because path of pain is memorizable segments with infinite soul🦤

Just sat down and completed White Palace from start to finish in two hours. Absolute torture, 0/10, would not recommend, though to be fair it wasn't as impossible as I had expected
