Then Perhaps their right, I mean she used them for her own selfish goals and then dump them once she has what she wants from them or failed to get what she wants from them. In order to become the most beautiful, famous and riches woman in New York City; And I can think of some ideas to prove it, from the guys she dated. 1. Flash Thomson; She mostly hangout with Flash during High school to make sure she is the most popular girl in the school, and when they graduated. She dumps him. 2. Harry Osborne; For Harry, I believe that she only dated him was for the money, help further her goals and possibly get that job at a dinner to make it seem like she having rotten luck and wants to make Harry feel bad and give her more money. But when she overheard Harry and his dad talking. I think Norman exposed her intentions and which caused her to leave before dinner started and dumped Harry. 3. John Jameson; As for John, she only dated him after Peter left her at the cemetery when she kissed him and said she wanted to be with him. When failed she started to date John to increase her fame more and to make Peter jealous. But no matter how hard she tried to be with John, she couldn't stop thinking about Peter and Spiderman. And she really tried to kiss Peter while engage to John. Then to make matters worse for him, she called off the wedding when it started, conned his parents and left him at the alter and run away. 4. Peter Parker; Now for Peter, once she found out he is Spiderman. She must have in her mind, regretted what she has done to make Peter jealous and understand why he turned her down. So maybe the reason why Mary Jane cancelled on the day she was going to marry John. Was because either she wanted to make it up to Peter by leaving John at the alter or she simply did to run straight to him for a private little wedding. Making sure by showing up there while dressed as a bride, perhaps she was going to charm him or force him to marry her to really increase her fame. But a lot of good that did her, especially of what happened in the 3 movie. While Peter/Spiderman's popularity grew, Her's drooped and she got really mad and jealous along with her losing her job at the theater and forced to take another job at a restaurant. And after that, her goals have failed; Assuming if she doesn't have a few more tricks up her sleeves.
