AI generated art is made from artists’ works - their intellectual property online - without asking permission or giving credit. The owners of the AI program don’t get permission or have permission to use it, so they can’t give someone else permission to use these images. More creators should be aware and support other creators. AI art uses key words you enter to search for the subjects that are provided by actual art that belongs to actual people. It uses this art to make an image. I know many people aren’t aware of how this harms artists, who already have to contend with rampant plagiarism and use of their content without permission or credit. I wouldn’t want my name associated with something so morally muddy. Please respect and support actual artists and use their art, with permission and credit.
