You know, people always ask if Pepsi is OK, but no one stops to think how Coke is feeling.

As someone who drinks Soda regularly... Coke is "stronger", i.e more acidic and bold, while Pepsi is softer and sweeter. It's not a big difference, though. I mostly get Coke because when I occasionally feel sick, Coke settles my stomach better than Pepsi, but I prefer Pepsi's alternate flavors when I don't want a straight cola.

Gave up soda completely years ago, but still have fond memories of an ice cold coke in a glass bottle. Nothing else quite like it.

Dr. Pepper not being a choice makes a strong argument for ranked choice voting and strong third parties.

Wild Cherry Pepsi holds a special place in my vault of childhood memories, specifically poured from a fountain into a paper cup (coated in plastic) served in a rollerskating establishment that smelt like a locker room; but if we're talking just standard Coke v Pepsi, Coke is the victor.

Waiter, "What would you like to drink?" Me, "Coke." Waiter, "Is Pepsi OK?" Me, "Do you have Dr. Pepper?"

I was raised on Pepsi but now, when I buy soda, I buy Coke. The other day the grocery store didn't have any Coke and I really hesitated but I went ahead and bought Pepsi. Frankly, I couldn't tell the difference.

I somehow felt that Pepsi had more caffeine in it so I preferred it, and the cool design too, guess thats just my teenager superstitions back in the day haha

When you want a good Cola, nothing beats an ice cold Coca Cola in a glass bottle.

Truly, I feel that having the 2 companies at neck and neck is what keeps them great. If they don't have competition, then they start slacking, and we all know what follows. Truly for favorites of the 2 brands, Dr pepper has been my all time favorite, which is and isn't part of coke, but for what's still technically classed for coke, I'd say cherry coke as my favorite and then Mt dew as my favorite for Pepsi.

what ive noticed is that it all depends on the production facility for each country, the recipes try to stay similar but due to cost for materials, and corporate moats varying by country the flavors change slightly making pepsi more popular in some countries and coke in others

Fan of both. I lean more to coke and Dr Pepper but sometimes I crave some Pepsi

I maintain my theory that Pepsi is just the coke equivalent from an alternate universe that’s just a bit weirder than ours

As a southerner, I can confirm-- root beer is better. Cola is for unlanded plebians.
