As you may have heard, Hermitcraft Season 10 is coming to an end. The end of a season is always bittersweet. You spend months, if not years, building and creating a world, only to let it go. But on the flip side, we get a whole new canvas to create fresh and exciting stories with.

I’ve seen some discussion about my ability to complete projects or bases. There’s an assumption that I didn’t finish Scarland. My main goal for Scarland was to build the entrance plaza leading up to the castle, and anything beyond that was icing on the cake. Would I have liked to expand it further? Absolutely. But I’m very satisfied with what I was able to achieve. Especially after the circumstances.

The zoo is a modular base; each component adds to the larger tapestry of the design. There isn’t really a set finish line. It can always be expanded or wrapped up at any point. That’s how I design my Minecraft bases. This way, if my health takes a downturn and I need to step away for a while, it doesn’t feel unfinished.

Thankfully, I’ve got energy and creative energy in the tank and there will be at least two massive episodes coming out in September. Just because there’s an end date for the season doesn’t mean the Hermits don’t have incredible things in store for you as the season wraps up.

On September 20th at 10 AM PST, we’re hosting a massive event on Hermitcraft. Plus, at TwitchCon San Diego during the Hermitcraft panel, we’ll be announcing the start date for the next season along with a few other surprises! There’s so much to look forward to over the next few months.

As always, there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow.
