Danielle: You're making me feel real old right now. I had this typewriter in high school. Rooting for you for the completion of your book.

Thats so cool and sounds like fun. Reminds me of college when we needed white-out liquid paper to cover the typos. Lots of smeared letters over what would at times turn into a "paste". 😂

Great! Nostalgia and no one can reach in and steal any of it. AI can't take knowledge from it. You most certainly will never be locked out of reading your drafts😂. Many positives

I have gone analog as well and bought myself a fountain pen + note book. Slower writing i find leads (me) to clearer thinking.

There is a commercial that has been coming on lately where two ladies are talking about how one of them already has 13 pairs of parachute pants. "And this is my 14th!" the lady said. It reminds me of you now. I rarely if ever used a typewriter, but I loved writing on our Word Processor as a child. Everyone else already had computers at this point, but I wasn't allowed for some reason. I think it honestly was a money issue. BUT ANYWAY, a word processor is a lot like a typewriter, but you can backspace and fix your mistakes before you have it print. You probably already know all this.

🤔Why are you using a typewriter instead of a laptop or desktop PC? and is it a electric one?🤔 to each their own😁 I still have an electric one, that I haven't used in over 20 yea

I'm hand writing two at once in cheap notebooks. I thought about type writing but didn't want to waste money on it. So I found some fake leather journals that have over 150 pages in them for $7. Bought a few and they will be where I write my final drafts in then self publish. They'll hold up and I will gift them to my kids one day. They'll always have the orginals forever!

I'm on my 13th draft of my book, and doing it on my typewriter. It's hard to slow down, but when do we ever take the hard road on purpose?
