The Stories We Tell

Hello friends. I am making an effort to diversify my news sources, and thought I would ask for recommendations from y'all. Mainly, I am looking for independent world news written by people from the countries being written about. So many popular news sources are heavily American and Western-focused, and often times run by big money corporations that are scared of telling the full truth (the apalling coverage of what's happening in Gaza is only the latest example).

I also would love a variety of political perspectives (ie. right *and* left) so I can know what the "other side" is saying. Any and all suggestions are welcomed.

Feel free to discuss the media landscape in the comments as well. This is something I am exploring as part of an upcoming video about big tech and always love hearing y'all's perspective.

The link is for Ground News, although I'm not sure how in depth the coverage is internationally as I haven't done research in that area. Still a great source of news from many different sources within info on owners and financial support.

I get my news from Charts, FX and Stocks. Things that don’t move the market don’t qualify as News.
