Skrimir gets some nice character development through part 3 and he's pretty slept on as a unit to boot. A general gameplay-related thing I like to do when playing Radiant Dawn is to turn a unit that's usually considered bad (Danved, Rolf) into a powerhouse by capping their good stats naturally and then pumping them with bonus exp to force their weaker stats up. It's really satisfying seeing someone who's normally considered a joke like Meg hold their own alongside the folks you'd usually take with you to the end.
