I might just be tired, okay, but like, hear me out. also correct me if im wrong btw. Also, you should prob watch the device theory from mollystars (shout out to mollystars) first before reading this.

so, basically. You know Spamton NEO's fight and he has this heart chain thing.
Darkners don't have a SOUL, right? So why does Spamton—as a Darkner—have a [[heart-shaped-object]]?? My theory is that he had a SOUL. You know how Gaster was experimenting w/ SOULs and DETERMINATION, right (i think)? What if he gave one to Spamton, but it got corrupted over time or smth like that because he was a Darkner, and also because the soul was artificial??

anyway. Here's another theory i had from before.

Okay, so, you know when you use the cell phone (key items) in the dark world, and it just does *garbage noise*?

Blue Addison and Tenna also heard garbage noise from the phones spamton touched. (his home after he got evicted, after he ran away.)

So, i'd like to say Gaster made some kind of portal to **communicate** with the dark world (from another universe), or even worse; he made a dark fountain to communicate with other dark worlds.
