Swagkage

Hey everyone. Probably should have done this sooner, but last night I removed any videos featuring Seth from the channel. Not here to talk about that situation again — the reason for this post is to ask if you guys would be interested in seeing me remake some of those videos, particularly the older ones. Topics like Tobirama vs. Kisame, the Uchiha Clan vs the Hokage, how Jiraiya would perform against each member of the Akatsuki, Sasuke vs. Neji at the Chunin Exams, etc.

I don't want to do something that feels tasteless and "milk" (?) the situation for "extra" videos. I also don't want to upload something that feels redundant since I've obviously already covered all of these topics. At the same time though, this feels like a good opportunity to revisit some things I covered ages ago that I've changed my mind about, or feel I could present better. If I do "remake" some of these videos, it won't be all of them, just the ones I think are worth revisiting. They also won't come all at once, just occasionally.

@gasaiyuno6021

It's extremely unfortunate, because I LOVED those old discussion collab videos you did with sex. When you brought in Seth they were my favorite videos because your dynamic and chemistry was so amazing and you both were so hilarious. My favorite vid is probably your Neji vs Sasuke video, you both were so hilarious. I'd rewatch them all the time.

@jackcypher7474

Regardless of the Seth situation, revisiting old subjects could be really fun to get your new updated opinions on the matter. Most people make a video and believe that opinion is set in stone. So I can’t speak for everyone but I would love to see some of the older stuff again!

I'm actually VERY interested to see how your thoughts have changed throughout the years. So a "Swagkage Remastered" series would be pretty cool

@Blaze3062

I would be so hyped for remakes. This is one of the most nostalgic channels to me personally and especially the older videos.

@wawazawi

I feel like making a “lighting round” video of some different topics that you haven’t changed up your mind a lot could be interesting, or maybe doing vs battles with different guests or twists to bring a new light to the table. With topics where your opinion has changed substantially though I’d gladly watch entire separate videos about it again, no doubt

I’m REALLY going to miss those videos you did with Seth the chemistry between you two was purely phenomenal I would rewatch them all the time and have them on while grinding on COD I completely understand and fully respect the decision made to remove them all, of course much love brother will always be here to support!

Remake is good considering how much you have grown as a person it is interessting to see what new opinions you would have on old topics.

@12amocha

Absolutely! Honestly just listening to you powerscaling stuff is always nice, and it can’t hurt to see how your current perspective on certain stuff impacts anything. Revisiting old topics is underrated af

I'm glad you're doing what you gotta do for yourself and as a fan I fully support it. But man, it's gonna suck not being able to watch those anymore. Whenever I get bored at 1am I'd go rewatch them. Definitely remake them please 🙃

You’ve got our full support swag, I’d love see the history of yu-gi-oh part 2 but I understand if that’s scrapped or just taking forever to make. What’s most important though is that you have fun making whatever brotha

I think it's a great opportunity to feature creators in this space that maybe are a little more deserving of the attention that went to Seth for so long, especially if there's a few different people you have seen working hard recently

@aqmaalh.9519

i'd love to see you remake your older videos to see if your opinion changed at all and how you would articulate what you believe or still do believe about those matchups, theories and whatever else. i'd have to skim through any Tobirama videos tho, seeing him get slandered AGAIN would be rough 😭

@sith_ofdragons7642

I would love to see you occasionally remake those videos with either Clyde, Six or both. Whatever you decide I’ll still be watching.

@Bloooo95

Yes. I enjoy the topics and they’re fun to relisten to. I understand you pulling them due to Seth’s involvement. But it would also be fun to hear you discuss the subjects with a fresher perspective since some of those were several years back. It would be relatively easy content for you to churn through as well, I imagine.

Do whatever you think is best, man. I'm so sorry for all the repercussions of this situation and, more than anything, I just hope you're doing alright. The content will be great, whichever route you take.

The way I see it, group two or three of the video ideas together at a time. That way you can cover multiple ones without repeating yourself over and over (ex. for Tobirama vs Kisame and Uchiha vs Hokage, you only need to cover Tobirama’s abilities once in the video). I feel those videos were a good resource for new fans and revisiting fans reminiscing or refreshing their memory. It’d be a shame if they weren’t around in some form.

@maximumtune

There are still a lot of people starting the series these days who’d be curious about those match-ups. And you revisiting those videos with some new or updated takes would only make them better. I vote remake them

@EkayYT

I like going back and listening to them, so as you work on new stuff you can sprinkle them back in!

@OffBrandCourier

You’re much more seasoned as a scaler these days so it’d be good to see those old topics covered again

I think it’s a good opportunity to collaborate with some smaller channels in the community to share the love and keep the fandom alive
