Yankee Stacking

Got these twenty cull/circulated/scratched up and colorized Silver Eagles from Tim as seen in my last video on Monday, September 1st. Look what I was able to do with a little help from a dip in Xylene for the colorized ones and e-Z-est amzn.to/4p4Io5K for the tarnish! Which do you like best--BEFORE or AFTER? 👌🏻

@TheScottyboyee

I like the "ugly toneing" better but like the paint gone

I don't like the painted Eagles but I'm a weirdo who likes toning so it's a mixed bag for me 😅

Honestly, I like a little color toning.. But they all look fantastic either way.

@Yankee Stacking thanks for sharing the tip with the Xylene and e-z-est coin cleaner. I had 200 Eagles tarnish on me in the tubes due to a hot water leak 1986-2009. Thanks for the info.

Sometimes the toned ones are the coolest. The painted, not so much, usually. Cleaned are also nice coins. I guess I dig them all.

I like the toned ones myself. But what are you planning on doing with the cleaned ones now, resell them as BU? I hope not. I hope you’ll at least say they have been cleaned.

I used the hot water and baking soda on a aluminum foil lined tray once after we got a free old silver bar from father on law, worked real good!

Ill be the odd ball. There are far fewer toned SEs than pristine ones. Toned gives character vs the same look one after another. Toned are one of a kind. I have one painted one. I actually picked up one like the one in the middle, bottom row. Deep blue and purple. Colors really flow when the light shines on it.

I really liked the imagine. before they were cleaned. especially those toned silver eagles. but after seeing the after picture. they look much nicer now. all bright and shiny. 🙂

They are all beautiful

Honestly, after. It's not like they lost any value by being cleaned. You wouldn't do that to many coins, but those were appropriate!

@CesGonzalez

Personally I prefer the cleaned coins. Thank you for sharing!
